Hi, I have just started to paint again after many years (I won't say how long being a 'lady' I need some secrets!).
The reason I have time is that I am now disabled and receiving palliative care.
I am finding the brushes too long for me to manage. I received a pro-arte screw in brush in my schminckle half pan set of watercolours. It may not be the best but for me it was sheer heaven. It was solid black and the brush is screwed in to the handle for use and is size four round. To put away unscrew and insert into the handle and tighten. It fits a half pan perfectly.
My question is I used the travel brush without handle so I was almost touching the bristles and I had perfect control.
Do you have any idea what they are called? Where I can purchase them and if they make the full range? I need a 1/4" dagger a size 2 4 & 6 brush. I want to start back with floral watercolour and then get back to landscapes.
