I read online that suggest the Jackson's Art watercolour paint are made by Sennelier. I compared the pigment code and they are the same with the Sennelier ones of the same name. That doesn't prove anything though, but the reviews on Jackson's Art website are very positive. Some reviews are reproduced below.
"I bought some big tubes of Jackson's Artist Watercolour Paint, thinking I would only use it for practice, saving my expensive Daniel Smith and QoR watercolours. What I discovered was that I like Jackson's Watercolours so much that I'm not sure I'll continue to buy the more expensive brands after the tubes I have run out... I think I'll just buy Jackson's from now on. (Posted on 27/12/2018)" - Helena
"I totally love the Jackson's WC, I purchased the 18 full pan box and chose my colours. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is the Perm. Sap Green, which is made of PB29, PY153 and is not as luminous as other brands, only because they used PB instead of PG. It makes a big difference use on its own, and mixed with other colours. Overall, the pans are easy to rewet and to use. Good value, good price. (Posted on 30/01/2019)" - Christine
"I have been buying watercolours from Jackson's Art Supplies for a while now. Jackson's own watercolours came as a surprise. I was looking for a good quality professional quality watercolour to introduce my pupils to so they can experience the quality and difference between student quality and professional quality pigments. I got the 6 essentials of my palette and Jackson's watercolours are brilliant and so vivid it took a lot of breath away in its execution and stunning excellence. It is no surprise then that a lot of the watercolour projects done now are made with Jackson's watercolour.
"The paints are so luscious, the quality really superb that it actually seduces people to do more art. That for me is a job well done! I have pupils eager to learn more about watercolours because of that first brush with these amazing watercolours. I have been buying more of these paints ever since that first time.
