This is the Fish and Chips stall of my friend's uncle. He speaks with a very strong English accent he got from living in UK and Greece.
In our food courts or hawker centres, there's usually a stall selling western food such as fish & chips, steaks, etc. What's different with this stall is the fish is served with a bottle of malt vinegar for the sauce. Some say that the traditional dish is served with vinegar. Is that so? This is quite unusual compared to other stalls that serve the usual chilli and ketchup sauces. My colleagues love it but I prefer the chicken chop with mash potatoes.
The stall is located at Blk 125, Lorong 2 Toa Payoh.
