Book Review: Scenes of Thailand by Edric Hsu

Scenes of Thailand by Edric Hsu - 01

My sketcher friend Edric Hsu has just released his first published sketchbook called Scenes of Thailand featuring sketches he drew in Thailand. This seems like a piece of commissioned work from publisher Marshall Cavendish because the content is presented in A-Z manner, and on the back it's said to be the perfect souvenir for travellers and visitors.

The book's a 96-page square format paperback.

The watercolour sketches within serves as a guide to the different landmarks and culture of Thailand. There are places you can visit, such as temples, riverside villages or shopping districts, the various types of Thai dishes, culture and festivals.

The book includes four postcards that you can tear off from the covers. They are perforated.

Looking at travel sketches always makes me want to go for another overseas holiday.
