This is the 240-page paperback artbook for the Japanese anime series Overlord.

The book has character designs for the humans, creatures and monsters, props and background art. The artworks are in the typical anime style with clean lines with cel shading and they look good. All the pages are filled with various views of the characters. The text provided are just short profiles for the characters. The background artworks are beautiful and painted with lots of details, as you would expect from Japanese anime.

There are several pages of interview with original author Kugane Maruyama, director Naoyuki Ito, series composition and script writer Yukie Sugawara, character designer so-bin, character designer and animation director Takahiro Yoshimatsu, and animation producer Kentaro Hashimoto.

This artbook should appeal more towards Overlord fans.
