The Art of Invader Zim is packed with concept art, sketches, character designs, scene designs, storyboards and beautiful illustrations. This is also a wonderful making-of book because it has lengthy interviews with the staff who worked on the animation. There are interviews with series creator Jhonen Vasquez, character designers, storyboard artists, colourists, producers and more.

There's commentary for all the characters created, and also text on the art direction and of course the story. There's a lot to read so fans of Invader Zim will definitely appreciate the detailed behind-the-scenes look at the making of this series.
