Yeah, I could've sworn their initial solicitations showed a slipcase. I don't know why they pulled it.

It's very odd for Titan to not include slipcases for their premium editions. However, bear in mind that this is a very INexpensive limited at only $50/£35.00. The regular edition retails for $34.95/£24.99, making the limited only $15.05/£10.01 more. As such, this was never meant to be a "luxury" edition.

IMO, the tipped-in signature sheet alone warrants the higher price over the trade. You also get the variant dustjacket. Plus, I think the binding might be upgraded over the trade. I've seen publishers do far less while demanding far more money. I was shocked that Titan even bothered with a limited of this title.

Still, if you're unhappy with it, then definitely return it and write to Titan documenting your disappointments. Just remember that the MSRP was only a little more versus the trade.
