Sketches in the Perfect Sketchbook Vol 1

I've finally completed The Perfect Sketchbook after six months, from 7 March to 23 September 2015. It's a small sketchbook and by right I could have finished it much faster. Each sketch took me about 30-45 minutes, however I don't use it often even though I wished I could.

I've used QoR watercolours for all the sketches below unless otherwise noted. And I've noticed that QoR is definitely not as intense as Mission Gold that I've used for a handful of the sketches.

The Vietnam Airlines plane I was about to board to go to Hanoi. Daniel Smith watercolours used.

Drawing so much details in such a small book is challenging. You learn how to simplify, such as representing each book in the background with just one line each.

Botanical drawing requires a lot of concentration.

This is Waterloo St, Singapore. Drawing such a busy scene in such a small sketchbook is incredibly challenging.
