My sketcher and watercolour artist friend Marvin Chew is currently having his exhibition at Galerie Sogan & Art, 33B Mosque Street, Singapore.
He used to be an accountant but is now a full-time artist.
This exhibition In Living Colours is a collection of his watercolour works from the past few years. I was around sketching with him for some of the pieces.
The exhibition actually opened on 9 July 2012 but since a good amount of people were in Penang, he held a re-opening launch for us. It will run until 27 July 2012.

These are some of his sketchbooks and tools.

He has one of those Craig Young watercolour boxes. What I like are the many mixing wells you can fold out. It's crazy expensive.

Here's my sketch of his palette using his paint this morning in Chinatown.

The exhibition started with a sketchwalk in the morning. This was my sketch.

This was him painting in the morning.
