Just discovered this book that's coming out soon, published by Drawn and Quarterly.
It's a collection of drawings by Michael Cho of alleys and urban landscapes from downtown Toronto.
He has been drawing them since 2008. I like the use of blacks and a limited colour palette which gives the drawings a simple and yet striking look. There are some nice texture work going on too.
The book's 80-page paperback, 9.75" by 7.5". It's going to be out mid June 2012.
Back Alleys and Urban Landscapes is available at Amazon (US | CA | UK | DE | FR | IT | ES | JP) and Book Depository (US | UK)

So helpful for comics. I like this and usually I don't buy books on this subject matter.
