Day 3's location is at Chew's Jetty. It's one of several jetties in George Town and one of the tourist attractions.
This is the coffee shop just outside of the jetty. The coffee is too sweet. So far, most of the coffee I had are really sweet.
There are a lot of families living at Chew Jetty. What's interesting is, there are also guest houses, temples and even convenience stores among them. Many of the locals are probably used to hordes of tourists visiting. The noise level is pretty loud, but not from sketchers, or at least I hope so.
My lens filter rolled off into the sea somewhere around here. Thank goodness it's not too expensive.

Food is generally cheap in Penang. The coconut drink is very cooling.
Afternoon's location is along Beach Street. Historic buildings are everywhere, not just along this street.
I decided to sketch something less complicated. It's easier to remember people's names when you sketch them. I went over and spoke with them. They are sketchers from Johor.

By this time, I have escaped into the air-conditioned cafe just behind the place where the Johor sketchers were eariler. I wasn't the first one.
I ordered this lemon coffee drink which proved to be a mistake. Coffee is bitter and lemon is sour. It's not a good combination. There's a lot of mix and match food in Penang.
