Book Review: 寺田克也全部―寺田克也全仕事集 (Katsuya Terada Zenbu)

Book Review: Katsuya Terada Zenbu

Here's another collection of sketches and coloured illustrations from Katsuya Terada. The book's square-shaped housed in a cardboard slipcase. It's a Japanese art book but there are no captions anyway.

I'm not really familiar with Katsuya Terada's work. The only subject matter I recognised are the several panels of drawings on Zelda. Other than that, the book comprises of mainly portraits and fantasy character designs. Some of life drawings and some are pretty explicit. There are a couple of great female fantasy character drawings.

Since this is a Japanese art book, the character designs does have a bit of manga influence. That makes them look different from western style of drawing.

It's a nice compilation that can serve as an inspiration for character designers.

Thanks to Kelvin Chan for providing the book for this short review.

Hello, I was wondering if you could enlighten me about what Zelda pictures are within this artbook if there is any since I couldn't seem to identify any within the flip through video.

And thank you for a great blog.
