Book review: Magnitude 9 - Des images pour le Japon
Hardcover: 256 pages
Publisher: CFSL Ink, Edition: 1st (September 8, 2011) Language: French, Japanese ISBN-10: 2359470256 ISBN-13: 978-2359470253 Link to Amazon (CA | UK | DE | FR) Magnitude 9 - Des images pour le Japon is the homage of a whole community of artists and writers in the international Japanese people. In the early year of 2011 the country of Japan had been through a horrible experience manifested in the form of a natural disaster that was a massive earthquake followed by tsunami. This book was made for artists around the world to show their feelings of sorrow and support to what happened to Japan that day through their drawings which represents their emotions come to life. Magnitude 9 is a beautiful 256 pages hard cover book, the binding of my copy seem a little weak like it might come off soon but so far nothing happened to it...yet. There is not much to say about this book besides that the drawings inside it are very unique and emotionally swiping and that they are more than compensating for anything that might happen to the books binding. This books profits are going to be donated to "Give2Asia" which will help the Japanese people to recover and rebuild. I warmly recommend this book to all art lovers who wish to explore many different styles of art by many different artists and to anyone who wish to help support the people of japan. You buy a great art book and get to help people from it, in my opinion it's a win-win situation
