Book review: Trinity Blood Fabrica Theologiae
Much like Ayami Kojima's works in the Castlevania series, the art in Fabrica Theologiae has a dark tone and inordinate details to clothing. Unlike some of Kojima's gory artworks, Trinity Blood's book doesn't contain any gore.
This book goes all out to be impressive. It is huge at about 250 pages. Add the velvet hardcover portion to the pages and this tome is a heavyweight! With 250 pages of art how can this book go wrong? Sadly, not all pages contain art. Many of the one page images have a comment page on the opposite side. The comments easily could have been moved to an index page at the end of the book and saved on pages. Overlooking that design flaw, the book is marvelous. It's pricey since it came out in 2005 and it's been out of print. ISBN: 4048538675 Amazon JP |
