Your favourite cast of Kung Fu fighting animals are back! Dreamworks has done it again with their amazing collection of production art from their upcoming movie Kungfu Panda 2.
This book is divided into mainly characters, locations as well as a section called "The journey in progress" which documents their process in creating an animated sequence.
Apart from the original cast from the first film, this books features an all new cast of Kung fu masters and antagonist as well as new characters and abandoned concepts and explanation of why they didn't make it in the final cut. What really draws me in are the beautiful production paintings of the environments/ color scripts, not forgetting the character designs done by Nicholas Marlet. The fluidity in his lines and his understanding of forms is really in a class of its own. It's also a pleasure to see how these designs are carried out into the final production models.
From the Panda Village to the Valley of Peace. This book takes you on a tour to a world that is uniquely "Kung Fu Panda".

This book is recommended to animation/animal lovers and people who likes colorful and pretty pictures!

Is the binding of your copy good?

Mine just came apart after some reading.

Hi parka, I suffered from the exact same problem after a while. The pages are hanging from the spine. Luckily I managed to get my copy replaced. I've been more careful with it since. But I believe its bound to happen again. My friend who bought the book seem to have the same problem as well.
