What the hell is Black Rock Shooter (BRS)?
1. BRS was an Illustration by huke
2. This later inspired a song by ryo
3. They team up and made this PV (don’t even get me started on Vocaloid)
4. Then there was a Figure
5. Then it became super popular and a bunch of stuff happened for a long while that seems like a blur to me now
6. Yamakan’s Studio Ordet makes a Pilot
7. Then BRS OVA was released / It’s still an active Project (maybe “Franchise” would work better)

I originally thought this was going to be an artbook, it’s not really (idiotic me, It specifically states ‘phenomenon’). It feels/looks like a monthly magazine that records events of BRS in one place. But hey! Lots of pictures! And it’s informative.

Thanks a ton, I've always wondered where BRS came from after seeing the name here and there.

Touhou began life as a scrolling shooter game developed by (I'm gonna say) ZUN (because it's basicly him Zun making all the games)
It became a growing hit (at comiket i guess...) and now Touhou basicly belongs the it's fandom who continually make stuff happen (ZUN holds the rights of cause) like vocaloid belongs and thrives from it's fans/composers.
