Tips on posting images
Here are some tips and guidelines to posting images on the forum.

Uploading images here
I've enabled registered users to upload images as attachments. Each new post is limited to 20 images.

There's no bulk uploading so you've to upload one by one.

Image file size
The file size of each image is limited to 300KB, small but good for a an image 900 pixels wide.

Image width size
Keep your image width to a maximum of 900 pixels wide, which just fits nicely at 100% into the forum, without the need for any horizontal scrolling.

Anyway, any images larger than that are automatically scaled down to 900 pixels wide.

Making images appear on the forum
Copy the image URL first.

Then put the URL between the two tags [img] & [/img] like this:
Code:
[img]http://www.example.com/your_image_url.jpg[/img]

Using your own image hosting
If you want to use your own image hosting, I recommend either Flickr or Google Plus. They have no restrictions on where your photos can be posted to. So it's guaranteed that viewers will be able to see your photos, and they won't run out of bandwidth.

The free Flickr account has 100mb of storage per month, equivalent to more than 100 pictures if you keep them under 2560 pixels wide, as JPEG. The photos will never be deleted. Just remember to tag your photos (mine uses isbn no.) and post a link back to your tag so your reference it in the future.

Flickr also scales down photos to convenient sizes for posting on the web.

Google Plus is free, and images under 2048 by 2048 pixels don't count to storage. After uploading, just right-click to get the image's URL.

-- Do not use Imageshack because they limit the type of websites that can view their hosted images.

Using Parka Blogs' image hosting
I recommend uploading the images directly using the forum upload function here. That's because there are other image hosting websites that have limits on bandwidth and restrictions of when/where images can be viewed.

If you're using Flickr or Google Plus, that's fine.
