Win a prize with your book review

The goal is to feature more art books with the help of readers. For every book you review on the forum, you stand a chance to win a prize.

Categories of books to review

• Art Book
• Graphic Novel
• Manga
• Picture Book
• Graphic Design Book
• Video game guides
• Basically visual books of any kind relating to art and design
  

Prize

One random winner will be picked to win $40 worth of art book(s) from Amazon (since I'm buying there).

It can be from:

• Art books list
• Anatomy books
• Upcoming art books
  

Rules

• Do a search before you review. Books that are already reviewed on the forum or on Parka Blogs are not eligible as an entry.
• Post the review in the appropriate category on the forum
• Append your reviews with "Book Review: "
• Pictures are required. At least 5 to around 10-15. (Tips on posting images)
• Limit the picture size 640 to 900pixels wide -- it will fit nicely into the forum without horizontal scrolling.
• Uploading the pictures to the forum is preferred. If not, use Flickr, or Google Plus.
• Videos are not required.
• Reviews, well, must have a review written by you.
• Include the ISBN number (or better, just copy the relevant product details section from Amazon)
• Have a valid contact email (on you forum profile page) in event of you winning
  

All books reviewed will be at List of Art Books Reviewed by Readers. If you've reviewed a previously reviewed book, that will be listed but it's not going to be counted as a contest entry.

Just include the ISBN will do. On my side, I'll generate some Amazon affiliate links from the ISBNs. The links will be used to earn some money to fund future contests.

Consecutive winners

Each book review count as an entry. All past reviews are eligible into the future.

If you've won in the last contest, your entries won't be counted for the next three contests. That's to give other readers a winning chance.

Is there a limit on how many art books we can submit? It seems I have a decent number of art books that haven't been reviewed on here yet that I'd love to share.

Also, out of curiosity, how often do you update the list of artbooks reviewed by readers? And do only the artbooks that are on this list count towards this contest? I found a couple of artbook reviews in the forums that were not on the list, the Groundworks of Evangelion 2.0 being one of them, despite having been submitted earlier than artbooks that are on the list, like Notebook by Kei Kobayashi.

There are no limits to the number of books you can review.

Only art books that are listed are counted for the contest. I update whenever I can.

Since the list is manually updated, I do miss out some reviews by mistake. Thanks for telling me that.

I don't have any Photoshop or good programs like that so I don't know how to make the pictures size exactly 640X900, will it be OK if I make them 900px(without passing the 640px long) wide or 640px(without passing the 900px wide) long?
