RE: Book Review: Yuusuke Murata's FIELD of COLORS
I've actually always hated football, but years ago when EyeShield21 vol.1 was first published in the USA I decided to read the first chapter of it and a bunch of other sample manga. It was the only one that caught my attention and kept me reading well beyond the first chapter. Now it is my #1 favorite on-going manga! Every single person I've got to try it--whether they love or hate football--has loved it. Those that like football don't feel talked down to, and those that don't like it don't feel lost. It's a very little known and overlooked manga here for some reason, but you'd like it if you tried it. Smile

Similarly, I ADORE this artbook. I picked it up in Tokyo and was really excited to find that unlike other anime/manga artbooks that are half text and sketch, this one is mostly original illustration. Really pretty watercolor/marker work and fantastic lighting on these pieces. Smile
