RE: OneManga closing
I've no room for books, but I'll be like Yomiko Readman and just start stacking them all over the place if I have to. I love collecting.
I do find, that even the smallest of extras makes me want to buy a book even more. I didn't know it, but when I bought the last book for Beauty Pop from Amazon, it came with a small page of stickers. Stickers! Even the mere mention of some random page of stickers, a poster, or what not gets me even giddier to buy. If mangas were to add a small bit of fan service in the smallest form of extras, it gets rabid collectors like me foaming at the mouth. I can't do completely online. I know the internet may last forever, but I can't take the internet with me to certain places (like visiting my mom's family in the PI). A digital copy on a device is useful, but when worse comes to worse, a book will always be in my bag, no matter what, I consider them lug-worthy. You can still read a book without electricity, can't say the same when the batteries on a portable go... Visit http://pto.yetikitn.com (Peeling The Onion), a silly WoW parody site I write in every so often~ |
