Book Review; Syd Mead : Kronoteko
As promised in my previous post for Kronovecta, the first of the two books in the Kronolog boxed set, here is the sister book; Kronoteko. Comprised completely of paintings, high quality printing on glossy heavy paper stock, this is a definitive collection up to 1991 from the legendary designer. As Ive mentioned previously, if you have one book of paintings by Syd Mead, this is certainly the one to have.

Yep, a god of mechanical, interior, industrial...everything design. I would've bought the hardcover of DSP's Sentury II, but I dunno, there was just something missing from it (it seemed rather sparse). Kronoteko looks like the perfect showcase for Mead's priceless imagination. If the damn thing wasn't so expensive, you betcha I'd buy one.

I'm envious. <grrrr>

His older art books are more impressive indeed.
