Book Review: Yasuomi Umetsu's BORDERLESS
BORDERLESS visual art works shows Yasuomi Umetsu's animation works on series such as Ikkitousen or Valkyria Chronicles.
He's best known for his series Kite and Mezzo Forte featuring crude, bloody and erotic gunfight action stories. The book starts off his own series: Kite Liberator (15 pages), Kite (11 pages), Mezzo Forte (7 pages) and Mezzo (39 pages). It continues with his tributes for Code Geass, Ikkitousen, Nakoruru, etc. (17 pages), interview (5 pages) and ends with monochromes, guest illustrations and genga for animation series such as Highschool Girls, Ikkitousen and Valkyria Chronicles (24 pages).
