Book Review: Mangaka - darknekoboy - 03-03-2011 07:10 PM Mangaka is pretty much that, a book about the manga artists, the only difference is that takes an interest for the ones in America. The book is really good I would say, with 148 pages that features great artists and a wise variety of styles, genres and ideas. The book comes with several written tutorials showing some pictures but they're well explained so it shouldn't be so hard to really understand them. Aside from that, I think what really makes this a great book is the inspiration you can get out of fine quality. If you're familiar with Christy Lijewski works, then I bet you're going to love this one. It shows and interview and a tutorial. There are many other artists I don't recognize but great they are here, so you can check their work. You can certainly buy it on Amazon or any other stores that handles art books like BN for example.
