Book Review: Shigeki Maeshima's SERENDIPITY - vinhnyu - 13-08-2010 06:22 PM

SERENDIPITY is an artbook featuring Shigeki Maeshima's gorgeous illustrations.
Half of the book focuses on his works on Book of Bantorra, a light novels serie recently adapted in animation.
The show goes on with some illustrations of Magna Carta 2, Lineage 2 mixed with his original illustrations, fantasy character design and comic works.

MAN I love his style, so many details and well thought out pictures! (though his anatomy -is- a bit exaggerated, oh well.) He worked with Hyung Tae Kim on Magna Carta, right?

Definitely on my to-buy list!

There's no tutorial in this artbook.

There exists a tutorial of the SERENDIPITY's cover in Quarterly Pixiv vol.1 though. I'd recommend to order them both, great books.
