Book Review: That's All Folks - The Art of Warner Bros. Animation - ghost1515 - 11-07-2010 08:31 AM This book is absolutely rich in history such as when the studio was created, who was involved, how they came up with their ideas, etc. There are a TON of images in this book. Reproductions of the animation drawings, character model sheets, background paintings, character conceptions and full frame enlargements. The first half of the book is about the history of the studio while the second half focuses on the characters. Porky, Daffy, Bugs and all the well known characters each get their own sections. You get and idea of how the characters are created and why they're given the personalities that they each have. It's a great and fun read. I absolutely LOVE this book. If you're a fan of the making or history of animation, Warner Bros., or character design then you need this book.
