Singapore is a very small country, so it's always exciting to discover new places.

This new place that I discovered yesterday is Wheeler's Yard, a cafe located at 28 Lor Ampas, which is in the Balestier neighbourhood.

The place looks like it used to be a warehouse. It's incredibly spacious for a cafe and so they also have a rather big bicycle store by the side. It's weekend and it's filled, as with all other cafes, with dating couples and younger crowd.

The cafe actually has two sections, the smaller air-conditioned part and the non air-conditioned part. It would be crazy to cool the whole place. Anything with tall ceilings gets a thumbs up from me. It's good place to hold conversation as the chattering from other people are not contained in a small area.

I'm still using Kremer Pigments and I realise that I used a lot of blues, not just this brand. The dark washes are Cobalt Blue Deep mixed with either Burnt Sienna or Burnt Umber.
