Here I have with me the Collector Edition of Mass Effect 2 (PC version).

Before I start playing, here are some pictures of the whole package.

Much small than I expected. That's the mini art book on top of The Art of Mass Effect which published in 2007.

The concept art is really good. Really wish they would come out with a thicker art book in the future.

There's also the Collector Weapon and Armor.

I'm pretty sure they will come out with a good-size artbook as they did for ME1.

That's really the thing I don't like about these collector's editions - they bundle some "lite" versions of artbooks and/or soundtracks and then release a 4x larger one afterwards.
I'll pass on the CE, though I'm looking forward to picking up this game for PC at some point; probably going to wait for a price drop of some sort.

Mass Effect is one of my favorite game!But Collector Edition could be better, especially art book.Which for first ME was definitely good.But now we have such a tiny piece of art.
I hope they release bigger book like was for first ME.Because it is a crime to cut down such great artwork.
In my country ME2 arriving on 29 January so my ME1 saves are awaiting to be imported:)

Thanks for unboxing my game of the year 2010 Parka. My CE will come tomorrow and until your picture there were only a view very small where you could see nearly nothing.
I also hope there will come a much bigger version of the artbook, if I look on the CE of Bioshock 2 it`s really sad what they did with ME2. As european I need to pay 25 Euro more for the CE than for the standard version. I bet the package cost them 5 Euro to produce. But however it`s really cool but I have one question:

Is the picture on the front of the box also on the steelbook? I don`t like the default Shepard but the N7 pic is great.

I really hoped to have the CE Cover on the Steelbook too. And jeah, I agree absolutly with you but I have luck, I will get the CE as a christmas gift but nevertheless, EA makes me sad with their CE politics. I mean, Bioshock will have a Vinyl. Okay 80 Euro but damn you get a Vinyl LP AND a really fat artbook.

LOL people, they are charging you 10$ extra for ME2 CE. While BioS2 CE is 40$ extra, of course Bio2 CE is going to have more stuff in it. In fact MW2 Hardened Edi the equivalent to CE was 20$ extra and had the same additional content as ME2 CE (ME2 CE has a more elegant presentation than MW2 CE). Money play a big role, you get what you paid for (sometimes you even get less than you paid for)

By the way I love this site, is awesome.
