Terryl Whitlatch has a new character design book coming in August 2013. She designed the creatures in Star Wars.

I'm not sure what the title is. The cover art shows Principles of Character Design while Amazon list the title as The Science of Creature Design.

It looks like it's going to be an instructional book which is great because her earlier book Animals Real and Imagined wasn't. There will be some examples from her training website Tales of Amalthea.
