A Map of the World: The World According to Illustrators and Storytellers

An artbook for cartographer and illustrators

Here's a book for the more adventurous cartographer, well, and also illustrators.

This 224-page hardcover book published by Gestalten is a compelling collection of cartography graphics. They are maps in a variety of style. Some are obviously vector style, some are 3D and there are also hand-drawn ones. It's a great resource to see the different ways maps can be drawn and imagined.

The work featured are great. Creative and refreshing. I would normally associate maps as boring graphics but it's certainly not the case with this book.
