I watched The Dark Knight Rises a few days ago. It was pretty good. The story just flew by and I barely noticed that 2 hours 45 minutes have passed.
There are some logic problems, yeah. The pace in the later half was too fast. While I wasn't paying attention, there was suddenly snow on the streets of Gotham. At the speed which Batman heals himself, Wolverine would be proud. Of course, without that pace, the movie would be over 3 hours.

After watching all these superhero films, Spider-man 2 still remains as my favourite. I guess I like the character development better. My favourite scene is the one with Spider-man holding up the wreck, and as he turns back to look at Mary Jane, she realizes for the first time who he is. It's a great build up to that point. Strangely, I'm unable to pick any favourite scenes from The Dark Knight Rises.
Coming in a close second would be either X-Men: First Class or Marvel's The Avengers. X-Men: First Class is a great character driven film as well and The Avengers is just plain fun.
What are your 3 favourite superhero films? Favourite scenes?

i like the second one the best of the the batmans by nolan, but one day hopefully a batman movie comes out more like the comics(not like the ones made by burton). i hope nolan and snyder make man of steel more comic book ish like the avengers. instead of trying to make it like it could exist in the real world like the 3 batmans.

I thought it was the best of Nolan's Batman films. It's important to remember that there is a pretty huge time-leap of about five months or so - which is why it starts snowing suddenly, but I do agree that the interesting setup of the latter half is just rushed through. I still think it's the best Nolan Batman, but then I feel like I'm usually alone in finding The Dark Knight much too miserable, even for a Batman film.

I can't choose between The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. But It's definitely the Nolan's Trilogy which is way ahead every other superhero movies for me because the stories , casting, special effects, costumes are really great. I'm looking forward Nolan's next movie!!

I loved it, its a superhero movie for non superhero fans which is why some of us fans of the comic are being so critical. add to that Nolan's & Lee Smith's editing style which is very different from the average and its easy to see why its so divisive.
I predict that in five years those that don't like it will drastically change their minds.
