Book Review: Kaamotsav Volume 1: Mytho Fantasy Erotic Art

This book was sent to me by Saumin Suresh Patel (blog) from India. He's based in Mumbai and works as a freelance illustrator and concept artist.

It's an A5-sized paperback book with 32 pages. The paper quality is very good, almost like card stock. However my copy's front cover's glue apparently dried up and did not stick to the first page properly. Minor problem though since the binding is still intact.

The book features erotic art inspired by mythology. There's nudity of course but overall, it's more sensual than sexual. The illustrations are look fantastic. I love the line art with the thin and thick strokes commonly seen in comic books. Poses for the characters are lively and energetic. There's a good sense of form throughout.
