The right side is the limit of the scanner's glass, and the paper goes out from the right. If the drawing is off the surface, that area will be blur. The drawing has to be perfectly flat for a sharp clear scan. Anyway, when you're scanning a huge image (say A3) in multiple parts, it's easy to overlay the areas and stitch them together afterwards in software. reply
